Laughing Whales is an independent fan project, built for Dead by Daylight streamers and their chat. Behaviour Interactive has no involvement in it. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Behaviour Interactive Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

Dead by Daylight, its killers, survivors, perks, add-ons, maps, and the names and marks that go with them are the property of Behaviour Interactive Inc. All rights in the game stay theirs.

Licensed characters belong to their own rights holders

Several killers, survivors and cosmetics in Dead by Daylight are crossover characters licensed from other companies. Their names, likenesses and marks belong to those rights holders, not to Behaviour Interactive and not to us. This site uses the names only to say which character a build or a spin is about, the way a strategy guide does.

Where the game data comes from

Perk and add-on names, descriptions and icons, along with map and character images, come from the community-run Dead by Daylight Wiki at wiki.gg. Thanks to the editors who keep it current. We copy that data so a build can name the right perk, and for no other reason.

Nothing from the game is sold here

Laughing Whales sells no Dead by Daylight content. No killer, survivor, perk, add-on, cosmetic or item on this site is a paid unlock, and no feature that uses game content sits behind a payment. Every wheel, build, tier list and creator page is free.

Donations fund hosting and development and buy nothing in return. The one paid plan covers pointing a domain you already bought at your creator page, which is a hosting cost and has nothing to do with the game.
